  11. Well, I did an Icon Info on HDToolbox, changed the number of scsii's to 
  12. 5, and then tried to open HD tool Box. I got a message saying that the 
  13. scsii information was "changed" and I should click on each scsii devcice 
  14. shown to notify it of the change and then "save Changes" Which I stupidly 
  15. did. Now I can't boot, EVEN FROM A FLOPPY or EVEN FROM THE EARLY BOOT 
  16. OPTIONS mouse both button combo. The Hd starts up and begins to churn and 
  17. then STOPS with the HD light on. Where are SCSII addresses stored? In a 
  18. chip somewhere? A friend mentioned the chip marked "WDCPROTO" as the 
  19. scsii controller chip? (A3000) He also mentioned removing the battery, 
  20. letting it sit for awhile and returning it, apparently to erase chip 
  21. memory of my scsii modified (incorrectly) addresses.
  22. ARRGH!! this is awful. How do you fix scsii addresses if you can't even 
  23. boot from floppy? How do you do anything? PLEASE help.
